General Functionality

• Create News Story (Post) via an online CMS module.
• Stories are posted on the News/Blog front page in reverse chronological order
• The story frontpage displays only the first X lines (custom defined) of the story. User can 'read more' to view full article in dedicated article page with a permant URL
• Older stories (as defined by either date or number of entries) are viewable via a "more news" tab
• More news page: a page of 25 news story headlines. If more than one page, then a Page 1 of X link allowing the user to navigate through a history of stories (also useful for Search Engine Optimisation)
• Stories can be searched or navigated by Category or Author (see below)

Creating News Stories

• Full HTML Editor for posts
• Ability to upload / display images via web editor interface
• Define / edit publication date (forward or backward)
• Story is assigned to a category
• Story can be tagged as 'live' or 'invisible'

Comments

• Allow users to post a "comment" to a news/blog item
• Only registered members can make comments to news items
• Comments are moderated - only published when one of the
• Authors reviews/approves comment

Categories & Authors

• Ability to define unlimited news Categories
• Ability to define a MineTalk member as an authors (only Admin can do this)
• When authors publish news it displays the author name automatically

Search Functionality

• News/Blog system includes a search function with the following features:
• search all articles by keywords 
• categories / author list to filter articles by
